Machine Quilting Basics
— Your quilt top is done! Now you need to learn the basics of successful machine
quilting: all about the techniques, materials and supplies. You’ll practice outline and stitch-in-the-ditch quilting,
channel quilting and crosshatching, free-motion,
continuous-line quilting, meandering and stippling.
Various methods of marking your quilt top will also be
covered.

Advanced Machine Quilting — This class focuses on expanding your machine quilting
skills, and includes instruction on not just how
to quilt, but also the design process of what to
quilt. We’ll
explore stitch-in-the-ditch, channel quilting, and free-motion
quilting of overall and filler designs, plus continuous curve
designs. We’ll
discuss techniques of fitting the designs of your quilt
(including sizing border designs), marking the designs, and
stitching them with ease and confidence.
