Diamond Braid — Choose shades from very light to very dark, add a contrasting cornerstone fabric, and create instant drama!  Customize your quilt with a bit of appliqué in the center, if desired.  This pattern starts with a variation of a log cabin block; the block placement and addition of cornerstones turn it into a unique design.
