Decide on Your

Find the Class That's Just Right for You!

Novice:
You are totally new to quilting by hand or machine.
You must be familiar
with the operation of your own sewing machine before you take a
quilting class.
*Please read “Note for All Machine
Classes” before you sign up for a machine class.
Also, you must know how to
use a rotary cutter, ruler and mat. Please take a Rotary
Cutting Class with Sue before your first class starts.
Beginner:
You have basic quilting and rotary cutting knowledge and
experience. Beginner
classes are also great refresher courses for those who haven’t
quilted in years.
Confident Beginner: You have quilting experience, including rotary cutting and piecing skills.
You have taken a
beginner class and completed one or two easy projects. You
can sew an accurate 1/4” seam. These classes are also fun for more
advanced quilters looking for a quick or easy project to complete.
Intermediate:
You
have a firm grasp of all the basics of quiltmaking.
These classes are more challenging and are best for students
who want to expand their horizons and learn new skills.
Intermediate classes explore a particular technique or method in depth and
hone your skills in that discipline.
